An inset frame displays a canvas board or panel without glazing. Inset frames are made for canvas boards 2-5mm thick; the whole board is on show, with a small gap around it that gives a slight floating effect.

Browse and order inset frames

1. Measuring

  • Measure the exact width and height of your canvas board
  • Write the dimensions down carefully

Remember: measure twice and be precise!

2. Ordering

  • Enter your exact measurements on the website
  • Choose your frame colour and depth
  • The frame is made with a small allowance (2-4mm) so that the board fits easily
  • Comes with a Velcro kit and hanging fixtures

3. Fitting

  • Attach the Velcro coins to the back corners of the canvas board
  • Place the board in the frame and press gently
  • Fit the hanging fixtures and hang your picture

Tip: The canvas board sits slightly proud, which gives the floating effect. There is no glazing in front of it.
