When you order a custom picture frame and mount, the Order Review lists every detail of your design. This guide explains each line, so that you can check it with confidence before you confirm your order.
The lines of the Order Review
Frame style
Shows the width of the frame's visible face, its main colour or colours and its finish (matt, gloss, natural wood and so on).
Frame size
The internal dimensions (the opening at the back): the exact space for your glazing, artwork and backing.
Printed image size
Shown only on print and frame orders. The exact dimensions of your printed photo or artwork.
Mounts - external size
The overall size of the mount board (shown only if you order a mount without a frame).
Mounts - To Take / Exact image size
The size of the aperture (the opening). "To Take" cuts the aperture to overlap your image by 3mm on each side, which holds it in place; "Exact" matches your image size precisely.
Extras - tapes & fixtures
Optional additions such as tapes, hooks and backing boards.
