Please check the information below as we have tried to answer/resolve the huge majority of the queries we receive, so you don't need to call or email us. If you do not find the answer to your question please email us.


We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 full working days. Most orders will be delivered the next working day after dispatch. Some remote areas of Scotland and UK Isles may take up to 3 days to arrive from the date of dispatch.

The only exceptions to the 3 day dispatch is for orders taken before, during or just after the Christmas/New Year period or orders taken over long bank holiday weekends as we may have a backlog of orders to fulfill.

The current expected dispatch date is shown at the top of every webpage and will be detailed on your order confirmation. Please note, the dispatch date is the day we dispatch the goods. It is not the delivery date, nor do we indicate it is the delivery date.

We do not guarantee the delivery as circumstances beyond our control can have an effect, such as the courier misrouting the parcel, the drivers vehicle breaking down or the recipient not being home at the time of delivery.

In our opinion, DHL are a superb courier in almost every circumstance. In 2019, 98.2% of our deliveries were delivered the next working day without any issues. However, on rare occassions problems can occur. We will always do our best to get any delivery issues resolved as quickly as possible.

Easel / Stand Option

Yes, we can add a curl/stand so the frame can be free standing but only for frames up to 320 x 320mmand frames manufactured from wood.

When designing your frame and mount on our website, you will find the option to add a curl/stand in the Extras tab. This option will only appear for frame sizes 320 x 320mm or smaller.

Larger frames are not suitable for standing as they become unstable and could topple over, potentially causing damage.

Viewing the Mount

The mount is supplied inside the frame.

Due to the protective film on the acrylic glazing, you will not be able to see the mount clearly until the frame is opened from the back.

Please remove the MDF backing board from the frame and check inside before contacting us. Once the protective film is also removed from the acrylic, the mount will be fully visible.

Protective Film & Mount Colour

The acrylic glazing is supplied with a protective film on both sides. This film can temporarily alter the appearance and colour of the mount behind it.

Please remove the glazing from the frame and peel the protective film off both sides before refitting it into the frame. Once the film is removed, the mount will return to its true colour.

It is extremely rare for us to supply the wrong size frame. Each frame is made from multiple components that are cut by different people, at different times, and on different machines. Because of this, any sizing error becomes very obvious as the parts simply won’t fit together properly.

If you believe the frame size is incorrect, please triple-check the measurements of both the frame you received and your artwork before contacting us. We will need to determine where the error has occurred before we can resolve it.

Important: The stated frame size always refers to the internal measurement at the back of the frame - that is, the size of the glazing and backing board that fits inside the frame from the back. For canvas floater frames, the frame size will relate to the size canvas that will fit into the frame.

Most UK mainland orders are charged at £7.20 for orders under £50, with free delivery on orders over £50.
Some areas of Scotland and the UK Isles incur higher delivery charges due to their location. For full details, please see our delivery information page.
We fully understand that these higher charges are disappointing for customers in these areas. However, we pass on delivery costs at cost price or below – we make no profit on them. As a business, we simply cannot sustain loss-making deliveries while keeping our product prices competitive.
All delivery charges are clearly shown at the checkout before you complete your purchase, so you’ll always know the exact cost upfront.

We need to have written confirmation of your order requirements, just in case there are any problems. For this reason it is much easier and more secure to place the order on our website. If you are having any difficult with our website we are happy to talk you through the online order process.

Protective Film on Glazing

All picture frames are supplied with a protective film on both sides of the acrylic glazing - except Box frames which need to have the film removed during manufacture.

If the acrylic looks scratched or marked, it is almost always because the protective film is still in place. Please remove the acrylic from the frame and carefully peel the film off both sides.

  • Standard clear acrylic: white film
  • UV100 clear & anti-reflective acrylic: blue or transparent film

Real scratches on the acrylic are extremely rare. Please make sure you have fully removed the protective film before contacting us about a replacement.

Large / Oversize Frames

We can manufacture frames much larger than our maximum online size of 1220 x 915mm.

Unfortunately, we cannot dispatch these oversized frames via our standard courier service. This is due to courier size restrictions and the high risk of damage during transit.

If you are able to collect from our Bedford factory, or if you live within a 50-mile radius of Bedford, please email us with your requirements and we will provide a quote.

Alternatively, you can arrange a same-day or direct courier, but the additional cost may make this option uneconomical.

Amending or Adding to an Order

Unfortunately, once an order has been processed we cannot make any changes or additions to it.

An order is considered “in the system” once it has been processed and the different components (frame, mount, glazing etc.) are being manufactured by different people on different machines. At approximately 5am the morning after the order is placed, the specifications are automatically sent as digital files to the manufacturing machines. Changing an order at this stage is very time-consuming and increases the risk of errors. It would also stop staff and machines working as the daily work files would need to be recalled and updated.

We are also unable to combine multiple orders once they have been packed. With hundreds of orders moving through our packaging area each day, locating and unpacking a specific box to add items is not practical.

Please double-check all details and items carefully before completing payment, as we cannot amend orders once they are in production.

Exception: If you need to make a change, please reply to your order confirmation email before 5pm on the same day the order was placed. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
