Recess depth: 9mm (3/8"). The recess at the front of the frame holds your board. It suits canvas and artist boards about 3 to 7mm thick, not stretched canvases.

How to measure
Measure the board itself, to the nearest millimetre. We make the frame a few millimetres larger so the board fits with a little movement.
