Canvas Stretcher Bars

Stretcher bar frame assemblies used to stretch a canvas around before it can be framed and to prevent is sagging in the frame. Typically the canvas is wrapped around the stretcher bars and stapled along the back or side edge. Our stretcher bars will be supplied mitred and underpinned in custom sizes. No additional items are included. You will require specialist skills and tools to correctly stretch a canvas, so these are recommended for professional use only.

The stretcher bar assembly will be manufactured to within a millimetre of the sizes entered so it important you calculate the size correctly and allow enough wrap around dependent on how you want the finished item to look - Please read our Measuring Advice if you are unsure.
