Who we are
EasyFrame is a proudly privately owned, family-run (3rd generation) business based in the heart of Bedfordshire, crafting high-quality custom picture frames with care and attention to detail since our founding way back in the 1980's.
There are other online framing services available, so what sets EasyFrame apart as the ideal choice for all your framing needs?
This website was created and has been continually developed by me, Rob Zanna aka The Boss. Together with my brother, Nick Zanna aka The Other Boss, we have dedicated ourselves to managing our family's picture framing business for more than 25 years. My initial 10-year apprenticeship provided me with an extensive knowledge about picture framing, and even more crucially, an understanding of customer expectations from a picture framer.
Around 2009, my passion for web design and programming grew, leading me to recognise an opportunity to connect traditional picture framing shops with the convenience of the digital world.
With this vision, I set out to develop a website focused on ordering custom picture frames and mounts. The objective was to create an intuitive platform where customers could easily navigate their options, visualise their choices, and place orders with confidence. Central to my website's design was a commitment to user-friendliness and a determination to leverage technology not only for efficiency but also to minimise the likelihood of errors.
As our name suggests, you would expect it to be easy ordering from us - give it a try and see for yourself.
The most important aspect is measuring your artwork accurately as even a small miscalculation can affect the final look, so taking a few extra moments to measure carefully really pays off. If you're not sure about anything, we have lots of explainer videos, created in house, to assist with measuring artwork and placing orders online, and we are always happy to provide guidance via email or phone.
How to Measure | How to Order | How to Fit
Providing you measure correctly and understand what the sizes relate to, it is very easy to order any type of picture frame on our website.
One of the most compelling reasons to choose EasyFrame is the wide array of customisation options we offer. Whether you're framing a piece of art, a family photograph, or a professional certificate, EasyFrame allows you to tailor every aspect of the design.
Mounts can be crafted with precise apertures or an overlap, featuring oval or rectangular openings, and you can even incorporate a title box aperture at the bottom of the mount. Multi-aperture mounts can be created with total control over the sizes and placement of the openings.
Frames can be ordered as an empty frame suitable for a stretched canvas, or you can choose from 5 different glazing options. Additionally, you can introduce spacers between the glazing and backing to ensure the artwork does not touch the glazing.
These options are only available on the Original and Genuine EasyFrame website, this website.
EasyFrame are confident you won't find a wider selection of premium picture frame mouldings and mount colours in the UK. Our extensive collection includes over 900 frame mouldings and 63 unique mount colours, making it the largest range available among all online picture framers.
We encourage you to compare for yourself. Most of our competitors offer fewer than 200 frame mouldings, and some provide less than 15 mount colours. With EasyFrame, you get access to a far greater variety, making it easier than ever to find the perfect match for your home or office decor.
We also offer a range of Canvas Floater Frames that are exclusive to EasyFrame in the UK.
If it's variety you're after, EasyFrame have got you covered.
Undoubtedly, one of the most crucial elements when deciding on an online purchase is the cost. EasyFrame encourages you to compare prices, as we believe we provide the best value-for-money package available.
Most online framing services source from the same moulding suppliers, so you can expect similar quality across the board. Glazing, however, can vary; some online retailers offer a low-cost (poor quality) styrene option but advertise it misleadingly. EasyFrame's standard choice is always 2mm Clear Extruded Acrylic, and we never supply the thinner 1.2mm Styrene or the 1.5mm Styrene/Acrylic blend.
The EasyFrame Promise: You will not find a custom picture frame of equal quality from any other online framer at a lower cost.
If you can, let us know, and we will either explain the difference or beat the price.
It is important to remember that we manufacture each picture frame specifically for each order. Every component of your picture frame or mount is custom cut to match your specifications; we do not simply select an item from a shelf and place it in a box. Each order requires the collaboration of multiple team members completing various tasks before everything is assembled.
EasyFrame process and prepare every new order for delivery within 1 - 3 working days. This efficiency is achieved by using automated systems for nearly all manufacturing processes involved in a frame order. In comparison to our competitors, who can take up to 10 days, you will find that we manufacture and dispatch much faster than any other online framer in the UK.
