Where to Get Photos Printed

Where to get a photo printed if you want to frame it: why printing and framing in one place avoids problems with size and dust, what to do with a print you already have, and which paper finish to choose.

Turn digital memories into framed pictures, without the hassle

Ordering photo prints online

This is a golden age for photography. Our phones let us take thousands of pictures a year, yet most stay on a screen, buried in a camera roll or lost in the cloud.

At EasyFrame we think your photos deserve better. They deserve to become things you can hold, look at and hang on the wall.

Finding a good printer can be a trial. Instant kiosks are convenient but often disappointing, and professional laboratories can be expensive or confusing. And if the print turns out a few millimetres different from the size you expected, it will not sit properly in the frame.

The quick answer

If the photo is going in a frame, the simplest route is our print and frame service. Upload your photo. We print it, make a frame to match it exactly, and deliver it assembled and ready to hang. There is no worry about sizes, no second shop to visit and no dust under the glass.

Why print and frame in one place?

Printing in one place and framing in another is where most problems begin. Doing both together removes them.

1. A perfect fit

Prints from elsewhere can be out by a few millimetres, which leads to buckling or gaps. We print the image and make the frame to the exact size of the sheet, so the print lies flat and fits.

2. Professional print quality

We use large-format printers with archival, fade-resistant inks, so that portraits and landscapes keep their colour for decades. Instant prints are not usually made to last as long.

3. Clean, expert assembly

Framing at home, it is easy to trap dust or a pet hair under the glass. Our framers assemble everything in a clean workshop and seal the back, so the picture comes out of the box ready for the wall.

What if I already have a print?

We can still help you frame it well.

  • A made-to-measure frame. Measure your print and order a frame that fits it exactly.
  • A picture mount. Ideal for odd sizes, and it gives a gallery look in a larger frame.

A warning about glossy instant prints: they can stick to glass over time. If you are framing one, always add a mount, so that there is an air gap between the print and the glass.

Choosing the paper

Our print and frame service offers a choice of finish.

  • Satin or lustre. Our most popular. A fine texture cuts glare and resists fingerprints, and it looks very good behind glass.
  • Gloss. High contrast and punchy colour, but it can reflect in a bright room.
  • Matt. No shine at all. Ideal for black and white and for art prints.

Conclusion

Getting from a digital file to a framed picture should be a pleasure. Printing and framing under one roof means the size is right, the print is made to last and the assembly is clean.

Do not leave your photos hidden on a hard drive. Upload one today and let us do the rest.
